Elevating website for BC’s HR professional association
The new CPHR BC & Yukon website serves the organization’s more than 7,000 professional members, who visit the site regularly to advance their careers and find the latest HR resources, and reinforces its leadership position in the HR industry.
Communication Design Challenge
CPHR BC & Yukon is the voice of the HR profession in BC and the Yukon. While the dynamic organization promotes the latest HR issues and trends, its previous website was dated, had too much content, and needed a refresh.
In collaboration with dazil Internet Services, we improved the site navigation and user experience, provided content strategy to streamline content sections, and designed and built a new WordPress site to current web standards without drastic changes, to keep some site familiarity for users. We also made sure the site aligned with their CRM and the latest web accessibility standards.
Outcomes
We maximized existing website elements that were working and helped the client with web writing, which allowed us to build the CPHR BC & Yukon site on a fast-tracked timeline. Members can now find what they’re looking for quickly, and engage in the HR profession at a deeper level. With an improved back end, the organization’s team can update the site easily and maintain the high standard of service members have come to expect from the organization.
